Rapa Nui – A tactical re-enactment of history

The idea for Rapa Nui comes from the contentious history of the settlement of Easter Island which is hotly debated even to this day, this makes the game a historical adventure. The game has three phases in which two or more players try to establish their existence on Easter Island through a mixture of quick wit and luck with the dice. In the settlement phase strategic points are occupied which in the following culture phase of the game will be secured. In the last phase ‘population pressure’, it becomes clear who is skilled enough in strategic thinking and tactical negotiating to establish themselves on Easter Island. During the game competition is often exchanged for coalition – Easter Island is a varied, exciting and challenging game with a historical background. The simple, natural design in the characteristic form of Easter Island appeals to all age groups.

Rapa Nui is a top quality, beautifully crafted game made from beech wood. It consists of a playing board, bases, playing pieces and dice.
